DESCRIPTION:Join Paté and Lisa for an energetic Lindy Hop class designed for our Intermediate dancers. We dive into fresh material in each class\, exploring new moves and challenging variations to keep your dancing creative and connected. We ask that new dancers have a strong understanding of the Lindy Hop fundamentals prior to attending this class. Students should be able to do the basic six (6) count\, eight (8) count\, and the Swingout with relative ease. No Partner required\, partners will rotate.

SUMMARY:World Lindy Hop Day - Milwaukee Shim Sham Flash Mob Tour
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Shim-Sham-ers! To Celebrate World Lindy Hop Day\, we will be gathering at various locations around Milwaukee to dance the Shim Sham! \n\n\n\n\nMeet up @ The Calling sculpture (the big orange starburst) at 12:00pm\, on Memorial Day\, 5/25\n\n\n\nOur first Shim Sham dance will start at 12:15pm\n\n\n\nWe will then walk to the Art Museum via the bridge over N. Lincoln Memorial Dr. and dance in front of the Calatrava and then again around the back of the Art Museum\n\n\n\nOur final dance will be at the War Memorial Beer Garden where we will stay to grab a cold beverage and toast to Frankie Manning and celebrate our love for Lindy Hop!\n\n\n\nSpecial performances from the Lindy Hop MKE Dancers\n\n\n\nSocial dance to follow at the Beer Garden! \n\n\n\n\nParking is available at the parking garage off E. Michigan St. near our starting point\, or at the War Memorial parking lot where our tour ends. \n\n\n\nNeed to learn the Shim Sham or need a refresher?  Come to our Two-Part Shim Sham workshop on 5/2 & 5/9 from 4:30-5:30pm at the Delaware House ($15/workshop). See event for details.
