Calling all Shim Sham-ers! We’re rallying up Milwaukee, this Memorial Day, to join us in an exciting celebration of World Lindy Hop Day on May 26th, 2025! Every year, on Frankie Manning’s birthday, people all over the world come together to celebrate the dance, it’s history and the legacy of Frankie Manning. We will be dancing the Shim Sham at various iconic locations in Milwaukee – the Calling (big orange starbust sculpture), the Calatrava, and the LOVE sculpture. And finishing up at the War Memorial Beer Garden to make a toast to Frankie Manning, a pivotal figure in the history of Lindy Hop.
